A note from Taya
Needs you
Nothing needs you right now. Everything else is quietly running.
At a glance
Products
What’s in your shop. A draft stays off your site until you set it live, and a count at 0 shows as sold out.
No products yet. Add your first one, and it shows on your site once it’s live.
Orders
Test mode: these are practice orders, no real money.
Newest first. Tick Packed once it’s in the mail, or tap Shipped to send the buyer their tracking. Each address stays here until 30 days after Packed, and your Stripe keeps the whole order.
No orders yet. They show up here as soon as someone checks out.
Your copy, any time:
Discount codes
Make a code, share it, and buyers type it at checkout. Their Stripe receipt shows it too. A use counts once the order is paid.
No codes yet. Make one for a sale, a newsletter, or a friend.
Free shipping and packing slips
Gift certificates
Test mode: these are practice certificates, no real money.
When someone brings a certificate, look up its code, then record what they used. Whatever is left stays on it for next time. The money is already in your Stripe.
Recent
No gift certificates yet. They show up here once someone buys one.
Bookings
Booking isn’t switched on for your site yet. Taya turns it on with you once your hours and services look right.
Deposits are in test mode: no real money moves yet.
Coming up
Nothing booked yet. New bookings show up here, and each one comes to your email with a calendar file.
Past and canceled (the last 60 days)
Your month
Tap a day to see it, take it off, or give it different hours.
A day marked Off is closed for booking. A faded day is outside your usual hours. A small dot means you’re busy in your own calendar that day.
Your weekly hours
When people can book, each week. Bookings fit inside these hours.
Repeating blocks
Times you’re busy every week, or every other week. Those times close for booking.
Different hours on a date
Open a Saturday, finish early one day, or close a whole day. The month view does this too.
Time off
Block a day, a few days, or a few hours. Those times close for booking right away.
Your services
Add-ons
Extras people can add when they book, like aromatherapy or hot stones. They pay for them at the session, not online. Your deposits and no-show fee stay the same.
Questions on the booking form
Anything you’d like to know before you meet. The answers come to you in the booking email and show here, and go nowhere else.
A new client intake
Adds the intake questions from your draft, after your own. Questions you already have stay as they are. You can change or remove any of them after.
Busy times from your calendar
Connect the calendar you already keep, and the times you’re busy there close for booking here. Only the busy times are kept: no titles, places or notes.
Where to find that address
Google Calendar (on a computer): Settings, then your calendar’s name on the left, then Integrate calendar. Copy the “Secret address in iCal format”.
Outlook: Settings, Calendar, Shared calendars, Publish a calendar. Pick your calendar and “Can view when I’m busy”, then copy the ICS link. That one shares only busy times.
iPhone or Mac (iCloud): in Calendar, share the calendar and turn on Public Calendar, then copy the link. Anyone with that link could see the calendar, so a calendar kept just for these busy times is a good idea.
Keep the address to yourself, like a password. If you ever share it by mistake, make a new one in your calendar and paste it here.
Your bookings in your calendar
Each booking email to you has a calendar file. Open it to add the booking to your calendar; the emails when it moves or is canceled carry a file that moves or removes it.
Or copy your private calendar link and add it as a subscribed calendar. It holds every booking, with the address for home visits. Calendars look for changes on their own schedule: an iPhone every so often (on a Mac you can pick every 5 minutes), Google every several hours, sometimes a day. The emails are the quick way. Keep the link to yourself.
How booking works for you
Your clients
Everyone who has booked with you, and anyone you add yourself, one line each, with the latest visit first. Tap a name to see more.
No clients yet. Once people book with you, they gather here, one line each. Someone who booked by phone or came in person? Add them with Add a client.
For your own records: name, email, phone, visits, first and last visit, where they came from, and your note. A visit is a booking that went ahead; a no-show isn’t counted as one. People you add yourself count no visits until they book.
Newsletter
Drafts and coming up
No drafts yet. Write one whenever you have news: a new class, a sale, a little hello.
Sent
Nothing sent yet. Your newsletters show up here once they go out, with how many people they reached.
Your list
No one here yet.
Your list is yours to keep. People join from the sign-up box on your site and confirm by email, and every newsletter has a link to leave.
Who it comes from
Your visitors
Pages people opened most
No pages counted yet.
Where they came from
No other sites to show for these 30 days.
What they used
Nothing counted yet.
Counted privately: no cookies, nothing that identifies anyone. Visitors are an estimate: each person counts once a day, so someone who comes back on another day counts again.
Receipts
A receipts box, not accounting or tax advice.
Take a photo of a receipt, and the date, the shop and the total fill in for you to check. Or type one in.
No receipts for this month yet. Add one whenever you buy something for your business.
One month as a spreadsheet file (CSV) for your bookkeeper: the date, where it’s from, the category, the amount, your note and the photo’s file name.
The photos stay here. Open a receipt in This month and tap Save the photo; it saves with the same file name as in the CSV.
Your business papers
Your insurance, licenses and permits in one place, for whenever someone asks. They’re private: only you and I can see them.
Renewed something, or got a new one? Email the new copy to taya@webfaery.love and I’ll put it here. I’ll also send you a reminder a month and a week before one runs out.
Just these few things
Nothing on your list right now. Rest easy, I’ve got the next bit.

Paid and still to come
Card or bank transfer. It opens Stripe, my payment company. Paid marks show here once I see it land, usually within a day.
